We act to create a safe and caring learning environment.
The concept of a Major Pratt School Wall of Fame was developed by Eldon Montgomery, who was an administrator and teacher at the school for 34 years before retiring in 1998. The original board was designed and built by Rick Willie and Darryl Gervais who taught Industrial Arts at Major Pratt during the 1989-1990 school year. The Wall of Fame was redesigned in the 2025-2026 school year by Will Moncrief (Vice-Principal) with help from Bernhard Neuhofer (Teacher), Tammy Edwards (Teacher), Tammy McCulloch (Principal), and Garry Muir (Head Custodian).
Former students who gain prominence at the provincial, national, and/or international level are to be recognized for their outstanding achievements by having their accomplishments and their picture placed on the board. Nominations can be made at any time to any committee member. Once a name is brought forward, a decision will be made by the committee. All decisions are final and may not be contested.
